Similar to Swedish massage, deep tissue massage is used to relax the entire body but it is used on the deeper muscle tissue with deeper pressure. Along with the deep muscle tissue, the tendons and fascia will be worked on as well. The fascia consists of is a fibrous tissue and is the connective and protective layer around the joints.
